PennyMole is a static publication with no analytics, advertising, accounts, comments, forms or tracking pixels. We do not set cookies or collect personal information through these pages. Our hosting provider may keep short-lived technical server logs needed to deliver and protect the site; we do not use them to profile readers.

The short version

You can read every page without signing in, accepting a cookie banner or handing over an email address. There is no newsletter form hidden later on the page and no ad network learning which app review you opened. The site serves HTML, CSS, local images and one font family requested from Google Fonts.

Basic hosting logs

Like most web infrastructure, the server that returns a page may automatically record an IP address, timestamp, requested path, browser user-agent and referring page. These operational logs help a hosting provider route traffic, investigate failures and block abuse. PennyMole does not combine them into user profiles, sell them or use them to measure individual reading habits.

We have designed the publication so it does not need a reader database. That means there is no PennyMole account to export or delete. If a host retains technical logs, its infrastructure policy and legal obligations govern that limited retention.

Fonts and external links

Pages request Fraunces from Google Fonts. That request tells Google the technical information normally sent with a web request, including an IP address. We use no other content delivery networks. The favicon, charts, stylesheet, social image and article illustrations are hosted on this domain.

Articles may describe or link to budgeting app providers. Following an external link moves you to another company’s site, where its privacy policy applies. At launch, PennyMole does not use affiliate redirectors or append advertising identifiers. You can identify an external destination from your browser’s link preview.

No financial data

PennyMole never connects to your bank. Reading our Moneyhub review or Plum review does not create an account with either service and does not reveal your finances to us. If you later install an app, review its permission screen and privacy notice inside the official store or provider site.

Children and sensitive information

The publication is written for a general adult audience, but it does not gate content by age because there is no account system. We knowingly collect no information from children or anyone else. Please do not attempt to submit financial, identity or other sensitive data; there is nowhere on the site intended to receive it.

Changes

If we introduce analytics, advertisements, comments, accounts, a newsletter or affiliate tracking, this policy and the relevant interface will be updated before collection begins. The top of this page carries its effective date. We would not describe the site as tracker-free after adding a tracking tool.
